The Sanctuary Warner is a housing development of approximately 200 homes. As part of the Development application Ausbuild has had to design a rehabilitation zone to protect native wildlife and flora, in particular 47 resident koalas and the Wallum frog.
Jungle Busters has been engaged to complete the rehab works including installation of large riparian areas with dams and ponds, koala resting posts and crawl rails, koala fencing.
This is a $1.2 million dollar project consisting of installing 75000m2 of jute matting to help stabilise the water way and batters, installation of 125000 native plants and trees as well as many other aspects of native riperain zone rehabilitation.
